Sometimes I get down and don’t really feel like I have much to say. I end up not blogging and then I wish I would have once I’ve gone to bed. That’s how I can be with getting to the box in the morning. This morning I felt blah. Everyone woke up late. I wasn’t in the mood for whatever reason. Maybe it was the Monday blues. But on the way home from swimming this evening I looked at the clock on my dashboard and something clicked. I thought, “If I hurry I can make the 7:30 class at CrossFit.” I ran in, told Jim what to feed the kids, changed clothes and headed out.
So glad I went tonight. It was a very…uncomfortable sort of workout. Heavy weight but I liked it. I did it RX’d and complained all 21 of my 95 pound squat cleans. After the WOD my favorite person Tiffany showed up. I decided to hang around for a bit.
Last week Mando challenged all the woman in the gym. He said that anyone who could get a legit pull-up by January 2nd could program any workout they wanted for him to do. Since I already can do my pull-up he told me if I could get up the rope I could program a workout for him as well. I have been trying to get up that rope for quite a few weeks. In fact, it’s my December goal. Well tonight I did it. Twice just to make sure it was legit. Have the picture to prove it.
I am really glad I didn’t skip out on my daily medication of CrossFit. I am glad I gathered the energy and made the decision to go cause if I didn’t I wouldn’t have this CF mile stone to cherish. I heart CrossFit Riverside. Thanks Mando.
