I <3 CrossFit
Several years ago I was diagnosed with PCOS. I was 100+ pounds over weight and I had hit rock bottom. On a hot summer day at Sea World I almost rented an electric scooter because I was so fat and miserable. That exact moment something inside me clicked and I decided I didn’t want to be fat, unhealthy, and unhappy anymore. Doctors told me I was just going to have to live with being overweight. I said, “ No Thanks!” I made some major life changes. It hasn’t been easy and I’ve hit a few road blocks along the way. But as of now, I have lost 96 pounds with the help of CrossFit and eating really, really clean.
I am a stay at home mom and I home school my 2 kids. So to say I am busy is an understatement, but somehow I have learned to make time for myself. I am stronger and healthier then I have ever been in my life and I love it.
This blog is to help me get rid of my last few pounds and to hopefully motivate someone to do the same.

Hi Lisa,
You are absolutely stunning! I just started doing Crossfit 7 weeks ago. I feel much stronger and can see my clothes getting lose but I have not lost much weight. I am vegan and do eat clean. I wondered what else I can do to take the pounds off as I gain muscle. I am 51 years old and need to lose around 25 pounds. Thanks for the help and you are an inspiration!

Protein, Protein, Protein! You can do it!
Hello there! I just noticed you subscribe to me bloggy (why thank you!). I’m always excited to connect with fellow CFers so I’ll be visiting often – hope you don’t mind.
On another note…you look GREAT!
Thanks so much!!!
Hi,
I just came across your blog – I am on a similar journey, so thanks for posting. I appreciate the support.
Iam so glad that I came across your blog today. I too have PCOS and insulin resistance.I found Paleo and Crossfit and fell in love.Iam about to finsh my first month and Ive lost ten pounds (started at 300!) Im hoping I will continue to lose without metformin! Were you able to do it with out medication?
My doctor let me try to go off Metformin. It didn’t go like I had hoped.(Details better left for an email.) But keep up the CF and try to stick with Paleo. It will work. As of this reply right now I have 4 pounds to lose to reach my 100 pound goal. You are going to feel great. I’m so happy for…keep me posted on how you are doing.
Hey Beautiful! I’m so proud of your blog, and what an amazing woman you are! You truly inspire me, and I am so grateful to have been introduced to CF, to you, and the other amazing men and women at CrossFit Riverside. You are leading by example, and I have so much respect for you! You will reach your goal in no time!
Thanks Jen. It’s a pleasure to watch you become so strong and fit. Happy our paths have crossed.
Lisa Lisa, just wanted to say that I enjoy reading your posts, and I hope you keep it up! Also hope the knee is feeling better, I know the workouts aren’t making it easy. Keep on rockin!!
